what are we doing right now?
last updated: october 4th, 2026!

we just visited our partner system in the states, which was the nicest time ever! love is everywhere and she is a perfect machine, but we're back in the uk now.
of course, we are still unemployed. this fucking sucks and we hate it.
we are part of an artists' collective in our city, and a lot of exciting opportunities come from that! for example, there's an upcoming exhibition in november. we were going to make an ep, but our computer broke (it's fixed now), so we feel a bit discouraged from pursuing music...
we recently reunited with our mom and visited our parents for a week and a bit, and upon returning home, our brain spit out a new creature. so, tulip is new in our system - everybody say hi!
it's hard to pivot from the previous paragraph, but we'll try anyway. we are often performing our poetry and constantly generating new material - we write a lot and pretty often. we're trying to publish the backlog of our existing works as collections on our itch.io, and have recently published scream to the sea in this way!
here's another poetry thing: we're hosting a poetry-centred jam on itch, and it'll start on the first of december this year and run for two weeks. please consider joining if poetry's your thing!
we've also recently published WOUNDED WINDING WORLDS, an abstract art zine featuring pieces from 10 other artists. check it out!
we make lots of art all the time, and recently got super into exploring mixed media between physical and digital art. at the start of the year, we developed the basics of a conlang writing system, but that's yet to become a major project/fixation, alongside the ryona vn we're trying to write. but we have hope that these will result in something interesting and beautiful!
we're constantly on a journey to improve our physical health and it may be slow and difficult, but it is worth it and important to us... recently we got some good bloodwork results, which is nice.
okay, but what about media and hobbies? well, we really like to read books and listen to music. we mostly read translated (usually japanese) contemporary fiction, and we listen to just about any genre that vibes with us, usually on the electronic side, but it really depends on who's listening to it. we also like to watch films and anime, and are trying really hard to let ourselves play games.
in conclusion, life is so incredibly precious and wonderful, but we need to get a "real" job pretty badly. it's always like this, but one day it won't be - and life will be even more gorgeous then.
